Terms of Service

These terms describe how parents and guardians may use TinyTaleHouse, what to expect from AI-generated stories, and how subscriptions work.

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Who may use TinyTaleHouse

TinyTaleHouse is intended for parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old. By using the service, you confirm that you are a parent or guardian, or otherwise have permission to provide the child story details you submit.

The service

TinyTaleHouse creates personalized bedtime stories from details a parent or guardian provides and sends those stories by email. The current product includes a free sample story flow, paid monthly and annual subscriptions, and audio narration on request. The current MVP does not include SMS delivery, illustrations, or a multi-child dashboard.

Stories are generated with AI and may contain mistakes, repetition, or unexpected details. Parents and guardians should review each story before reading it to a child.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information and prompts you provide, for keeping your email account secure, and for using TinyTaleHouse in a way that is appropriate for your family. Do not submit sensitive medical, financial, safety, or other highly private information in story prompts.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until canceled. Prices, renewal dates, and receipts are shown during checkout or in Stripe emails.

You can cancel before your next renewal by using any billing management link we provide or by emailing support@tinytalehouse.com from the email address used for the subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for more detail.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use TinyTaleHouse to:

  • Break the law or violate another person's rights.
  • Create, request, or distribute abusive, sexual, exploitative, harassing, hateful, or otherwise harmful content.
  • Impersonate someone or submit information without permission.
  • Interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or abuse the service.
  • Resell TinyTaleHouse stories or use the service for commercial publishing without written permission.

Story rights and personal family use

You keep any rights you already have in the child details, prompts, or original material you submit. You give TinyTaleHouse permission to use that information to create, deliver, support, and improve the service.

For AI-generated stories, TinyTaleHouse grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to read, save, print, and share the stories with your family for noncommercial use. Rights in AI-generated output can vary, and TinyTaleHouse does not promise that generated stories are unique or that you receive exclusive ownership of them.

No professional advice

TinyTaleHouse stories are for family entertainment and bedtime routines. They are not medical, legal, educational, parenting, therapeutic, safety, or other professional advice.

Disclaimers and limits

TinyTaleHouse is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted delivery, perfect personalization, error-free content, or that every story will meet every family's preferences.

To the extent allowed by law, TinyTaleHouse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for a claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid TinyTaleHouse in the three months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us.

Changes, suspension, and contact

We may update these terms or change, pause, or stop parts of the service as TinyTaleHouse evolves. We may suspend access if we believe an account or request violates these terms or creates risk for the service, families, or others.
